What is CBD oil? CBD is extracted from hemp plants that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and low levels (less than 0.3%) of THC. Raw hemp extract can be used in paste form, or mixed with other oils such as coconut, olive, MCT, or hemp seed to produce what’s commonly known as a ‘CBD oil.’ JADED’s proprietary CBD Oil is intentionally crafted with high-quality organic MCT Oil to fuel your mind & body, enhance the bioavailability of the CBD oil, and support faster relief.

Your body naturally has an endocannabinoid system which is a biological system in your body that helps regulate your physiology, mood, and everyday experience. CBD interacts with your body naturally by indirectly binding to CB1 and CB2 receptors within your endocannabinoid system.

Industrial hemp typically contains an abundance of CBD and is required to have less than 0.3% THC in order to be considered federally legal, per the 2018 Farm Bill. Due to its high CBD / low THC makeup, industrial hemp is non-intoxicating and non-psychotropic (i.e. it won’t get you ‘high’). The cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for someone looking for the wellness benefits from the plant without the ‘high.’

Marijuana, on the other hand, includes varieties of Cannabis that contain more than 0.3% THC (by dry weight) and can induce psychotropic or euphoric effects. While industrial hemp can’t contain more than 0.3% THC by dry weight, marijuana can contain up to 30% THC content.

CBD stands for cannabidiol, and is popularly known for its therapeutic and wellness-oriented benefits. Your body doesn’t build a tolerance for CBD.

THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, and is the main psychotropic compound that gives the ‘high’ sensation. Unlike CBD, your body will build a tolerance for THC over time. That said, there are some similarities. Both CBD and THC can be extracted from hemp and marijuana plants, they both interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system, and neither compound is fatal.

CBD Isolate = essentially 99.9% pure CBD, not very effective unless consumed in copious amounts.

Broad Spectrum = CBD + beneficial cannabinoids without any THC. Unfortunately, your body's CB1 receptors need a TEENY tiny amount of THC to UNLOCK the full myriad of benefits. Without THC, you’re preventing your body from experiencing the full benefits.

Full Spectrum = CBD + beneficial cannabinoids + a small amount of THC. At JADED, we only include the MINIMUM amount of THC (<0.1%) needed to unlock the full benefits — nothing more. No high, guaranteed.

CBD is federally legal in the US if it derived from an industrial hemp plant.

While hemp was previously regulated as an illegal substance under the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, it was removed as an illegal substance under the 2018 Farm Bill, which federally legalized hemp and hemp-derived products that contain no more than 0.3% THC. Marijuana, on the other hand, is still treated as a controlled substance and is federally illegal under the Controlled Substance Act. That said, federal laws differ from state-level laws, so it’s highly encouraged to check your state’s laws and those of anywhere you travel.

JADED CBD is sourced from USA-grown industrial hemp and may contain trace levels of THC below 0.3%. Most drug tests and drug screenings scan for the presence of THC, and consuming a hemp-based product may result in THC being stored in your body for varying periods of time.

JADED CBD does not guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen after consuming our products. It is possible that the trace THC content may show up on various drug screenings.
